George Nelson Bubble Saucer Medium
The Bubble Lamps, with their iconic sculptural shapes, were designed by George Nelson in 1947. A taut polymer coats a steel wire-frame. Nelson’s unique design and ingenious use of materials eliminates glare and provides an abundant, yet diffused light.
The George Nelson Bubble Lamp collection is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
