Ostjakki Wool Blend Blanket 120x185cm

The striking Ostjakki pattern in red, orange, and brown adorns this light weight soft blanket made of a brushed wool and cotton blend, and is finished off with fringes at the ends.

The Ostjakki (Khanty) check pattern was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired by a book depicting the life of the Finno-Ugrian peoples as well as by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
